I believe in therapy because I've experienced its power as a client and as a pracitioner. Therapy is practical and sacred.
It's also weird and multifaceted (like some of us). Sometimes therapy is a place to heal from your past and feel understood. Sometimes it's a training gym for "soft skills" or your mind-body system. Sometimes it's a sandbox to test out new ways of relating without freaking out your friends and family. Sometimes it helps you level up your career or relationships; other times it feels like a lifeline.
This is not a quick fix; there's a reason "doing the work" is such a cliche.
